These behemoths serve as muscle for the Forceless Collective. They are roughly the size of a Rancor, but are better suited for military purposes. Their sickle-like claws are capable of tearing through all but the toughest alloys and bear a shell that protects against strong-arms fire (they can use that shell like a shield thanks to their incredibly flexible spinal column, and believe it or not, when resting, they can put their whole body under it; also, that shell can protect against lightsabers); the horns on the front of the shell can be used to flip a tank over. Combining all of these traits, they make effective anti-tank units aside from their lack of ranged weapons. One of these massive insects serves as one of the last obstacles between the Blazing Manta and escaping from Sleheyron. That individual Juggernaut Beetle was waiting right outside the hangar doors of Grein's residence. Zolph (albeit unenthusiastically) distracts the beast from tearing the freighter to shreds while its engines warm up. For a video game adaptation, I would use that situation as a stall-the-boss situation (though you could get a reward for killing it before the time's up), but they would become standard enemies in later levels. Design wise, I would say that the lower half of the creature was the most difficult to draw.
